2007 - 2010 TV Ads Reel

I promised myself I wouldn't make a showreel with my daily work projects, but here it is... I gathered some of the works I like the most and compiled them to the sound of Wall-e! ;- D

They're works from since I was still a novice rigger messing up skin weights to now; a professional skin weights mess-up guy!

Riggerman's 2010 TV Ad Reel from Riggerman on Vimeo.

Most of the rigs were done using vzRigMaker (vzRM), our proprietary rigging toolset at Vetor Zero.
vzRM is modular automatic rigging solution entirely written in Python by myself, with the help of Daniel Sampaio Lima who designed and wrote the first spine rig and Rogério Miyagi, who re-designed the spine and rigged a cool and complex finger rig, which I then broke it down and incorporated into vzRM as a module.
By modular, I mean you can create a character with four arms and ten fingers on each hand. And on the end of each finger heads, and at the end of these heads, I don't know... legs... with necks? Well, I think you got the idea. :- )

It works really well, but it is going through a major redesign to better integrate with our pipeline so I won't be showing it's features for now...

Anyhow, I hope you like the reel. I do!

Digital Painting: Yuki

Sorry people, once again I'm posting something that isn't directly related to rigging. But since I don't really have anything new to show... what the heck!

Meet Yuki, my female albino dalmatian.
Painted on Art Rage 2.5 using a photograph as a tracing image.

Even though I chose a technical area as my profession, I still like to draw and paint and play music and stuff as hobbies. It helps me to relax and use a lil' bit of my unused brain areas.

;-)
