Procedural-Magical-Fish

By riggerman | March 25, 2008

Reposting something I did last year for a rigging workshop, it’s a different kind of fish. It’s a “” magical fish “” !
It’s not magical because it only has bones, it’s magical because it gets animated via sliders, not keyframes :0~~

“OH, HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?!” - You might be thinking.

Well sir, it’s no big deal. You just put some expressions here and there and the software animates the thing for ya. Sometimes can be really useful if used correctly. This fish can also receive keyframed animation, it is blendable.

:)

Bellow is a screenshot of its sliders (they’re in portuguese, by the way).

Modeled and Rigged in XSI.
